Hi, Just after a bit of advice. Would love to use buddypress to set up our network which is aimed at both learners and educators – and that’s learners of all ages. I know at the moment bp only supports open networks – is it or will it ever be suitable for use in such a way (i.e. with decent security options, like the need to moderate and approve each forum entry, blog entry etc. And if so what is the timescale to this… (This would help us decide whether to go with bp).

And if not, any alternatives which you people would recommend (if that’s ok to ask)

… oh and also with the facility to embed video and .swf files (safely – i keep hearing horror stories of files being hijacked and replaced…)
