    Hi,

I am using Boss theme with latest BuddyPress version and I found that “Take Photo” option under “change profile photo” not working on firefox. It is giving this message continuously

'Video error: Please upload a photo instead'

It is working fine on Chrome. I have checked and found these errors in the console

navigator.mozGetUserMedia has been replaced by navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia
HTTP load failed with status 404. Load of media resourceM
MediaStream.stop() is deprecated and will soon be removed. Use MediaStreamTrack.stop() instead.
Invalid URI. Load of media resource failed.

    Hi there,

Looking around a standard BP install the option to take a photo does not exist, you can only upload a photo. Could that be a theme option?

Yes seems so, looks like I have an issue myself, seems to be either the browser or pc settings.

Yeah, I too checked it on standard BP install and Its not showing on chrome. But when I checked it on Firefox it was there. Strange!!. But the issue remains same, It’s not working on firefox.

I’m getting the same as you, or at least on mine it works better on Chrome than it does on Firefox. I think you should raise a trac ticket for it.

Let me know when you’ve done that, I’m not sure notifications are working on track.

This is broken in Firefox. We have a fix and targeting it for the 3.0 release: https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/7676
