Tasty Kitchen Member Privacy

Anyone know how Tasty Kitchen (http://tastykitchen.com) is locking down the member profiles? There seem to be a lot of plugins, but none quite fit the bill. I know there’s a new privacy plugin coming out and am wondering whether to go plugin or wait for BP 1.3 to see what privacy options are there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

UPDATE: Found a possible workaround, but still curious what folks are doing. Also, I apologize for not posting this in the Privacy section…my mistake.

I haven’t tested this with the latest version of WP/BP but I’ve used a similar method up to WP 2.9.1 and BP 1.2 without issue.

@modemlooper That’s the one I was thinking of, I just couldn’t remember the name.
