Text in fields linked – by design?

The values of xprofile fields seem linked:
http://csillamvilag.com/modellek/modell/angelaveress/
Is this intended?

The links go to a search results page, e.g. http://csillamvilag.com/modellek/modell/?s=Felnőtt+modell
If this is intended, then it seems to be buggy as ZERO results are shown.

@sooskriszta I’m not a fan of the automatic linking either. You can remove the auto-linking using a plugin like this (by @bphelp):

I think we’ll end up adding admin options to control this kind of behaviour. Not sure if 2.1 or 2.2, but feels like soon.

Seems simple enough to add a simple setting in the BP dashboard settings. Would be great to see this added in the future. Cheers!

I would prefer a field-by-field switch a la https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/787 as opposed to a blanked on/off.

Sounds cool if there was a box or something beside each field in the dashboard/profile fields for admins to choose to be linkable.
