Theme and Upload form issue

With other themes, avatar upload works fine. With P2-Categories theme the dots around the upload form disappear off to the right where the main divide ends. I select the file but do not see the upload status. I imagine it is then going to the crop portion but that is not visible so the avatar does not get changed.

I have noticed that main has no style assigned to it. Have tried changing the style to have a fixed width, adding visible overflow, scroll, but no change.

In reading Buddypress documents on themes, I noticed it says that it will work out the box with modern themes. What quality does a wordpress theme require to fit that description? Maybe certain attributes for main?

hi @chilligrower,

i’m unable to reproduce your issue with P2 Categories. Out of the box installed, and avatar upload and cropping are working correctly.
The only thing i see, is that the drop area may need a little width adjustment. A percentage of 98% will show the right border.
