Theme to be Released

    I’m still deciding what to do with my latest theme and hoping the community here can help me decide what best to do with it. There’s a few options I have, each with their own pros and cons.

    1) Release it as free and open-source but abandom when I feel like.
    2) Release as a premium theme and provide support to only those have purchased a license.
    3) Release it as it is and provide updates and enhancements as plugins.

    I would like to make a little bit of money for my efforts with this theme, it’s called Centro and you can find it on http://centro.buddycore.com or you can signup on http://buddycore.com to test drive and offer feedback.

    Considering your plan is to make money from the theme, I’d go for 2. There are lots of outlets where you can list a theme for sale or if your own website has the capability you could list it for sale there.

    Thanks, finishing the theme is the first goal then thinking about how best to package it would be the next. So 2 is a good shout, I’ll work towards that and see where it leads.
