An intern who works here has accidentally removed loads of files in the bp-plugins directory a few days ago. Somehow my temporary backup was corrupted so I restored the files downloaded from the trunk.

Now when i try to open a group i just made and shows up in the grouplist etc. just fine, i get the error: This group does not exist.

Also, when I’m reading a blog and hover my mouse over the adminbar above, the only option available is Log Out. But when i’m on a buddypress page the menu shows up just fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You should replace the files on your installation with the exact same version. If you were running trunk then you need to replace them from that specific revision number. If you are using RC1 then you need to replace the files from the RC1 zip.

If you are using trunk then you can revert your working copy of bp to a specific rev # and replace the missing files.
