    I’m trying to make my buddypress install so that members can’t post html tags (specifically the iframe tag) into their activity feeds. This strikes me as being something of a security risk and I’m sure there’s a plug-in or setting somewhere, where I can block users from using HTML tags in their status updates. Could someone help me on this please?

    Activity should only currently allow the following tags: span, a, img, code. I just tried putting an iframe in my activity stream on our testbp.org site, and it was stripped out. If it’s getting through for you, maybe another plugin or theme customisations is interfering.
