'THIS WEBPAGE HAS A REDIRECT LOOP.'

I am using WP 3.6.1. and BP 1.6.5. If a member of the site tries to enter a BP group he/she is not the member of, there appears this notification: ‘This webpage has a redirect loop’. If a non-registered user tries to enter the group it says he/she is not a member and should request membership. This is how it should be. Does anyone, please, know how to solve this ‘THIS WEBPAGE HAS A REDIRECT LOOP.’? I am not using a redirection plugin.
    Thank you!

Redirect loops are pesky. Try deactivating all plugins, 1 by 1 until you find the culprit. By default – BP doesn’t cause redirect loops so it is highly likely a plugin is to blame.

Perhaps you have a HTTPS plugin installed?

Hi Henry, thank you for your reply. I am not using HTTPS plugin now, but I had it installed before. Do you think my programmer should check if it is still left somewhere on the server side?
I’ve experimented, the redirect loop does not appear with my previously created groups, only with the last four created groups. And If I create a new group it does not appear if that group is empty, but the moment I transfer the contents inside it appears. Can it be something in the contents of the four problematic groups?

Hi, the problem was caused by putting the extras (pages) on to the first place, in front of Home, Docs and Admin. Extras (pages) cannot be on the first place I guess. When I put Home back onto the first place, there is no redirect loop. The BuddyPress suggests not putting Admin on the first place, but I guess the safest thing is to leave Home on the first place. Thanks

It took me hours to discover that. I still wish I could have the order which suits my purpose, but as you said dealing with redirect loops is pesky. Thanks!
