Toggle Notification ( In Header )

As i’m using a inspirebook theme for my website, the header has some icons for messages, friend requests, notifications etc… None of the menu’s showing a toggle popup as showing in Facebook. So is there any plugin to add up to my site. Please help me as soon as possible.. Thanks.
