Too Many Redirects when activating BuddyPress

WP 4.5.3
BP 2.6.1

I’ve tried installing via WP dashboard and manual upload. Both still result in a redirect error when I activate the plugin.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins and the same error comes up when I activate BuddyPress.

I’ve tried using plain and pretty permalinks and I get the same error when I activate BuddyPress.

This is what’s on my error log:

PHP Fatal error: Class ‘BP_Members_Component’ not found in /home/wwcicwebsite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-members/bp-members-loader.php on line 23

Is mod_rewrite allowed on your site and enabled ? Check your htaccess file to now.

Have you tested using a Twenty theme ?

Yep, we missed a bug in testing. Will be fixed in 2.6.1.1 release later today.
