BuddyPress.org

I am building a community at mmophantom.com and I have never used BuddyPress before. I am looking for a new user starter guide if there is one? I installed it via my web host, added my theme, and when I click on forums nothing pops up which I am guessing I have to manually set it up but I cant figure out where or how to do that. Please Help
