Hi all,
I’m working on a theme at the moment , based on the default theme. I have a small problem though.
I’ve created a custom template and on that template I have a list. each list item displays the latest post in each category I’ve created. This part works fine. However I’m trying to style the list with CSS but for some reason its not picking up the styles. It works fine when I use the code in plain html/css but not on the theme. I’ve tried adding the code directly to the default.css file and I tried in the “edit css” function in the dashboard. Here is my template code:

basically, all I’m trying to do is to get the list to display horizontally.

As you can see it picks up the link styles and list style, but not the positioning.
