Trouble with Bp-Privacy-component translation. Drop-down menus (list boxes) still showing in english

Hi. I have installed the Bp-privacy-component to my Buddypress installation in order to give my users some degree of control over their privacy settings. I have translated the pot. file, created a po. and mo. files that I placed in the “languages” folder in my wordpress installation (bp-privacy-es_ES.mo and bp-privacy-es_ES.po for spanish translation). The Privacy settings are now in spanish, but the drop-down menus (list boxes) for the privacy options are still in english, and I just don´t know where to locate the source.

Any tips? Help would be most appreciated.

The plugin translation had to be in the plugin languages folder

Hi. The translation is already in the plugin´s language folder. The problem is that it wasn´t working, and it didn´t start working is spanish until I moved them to the Wp languages folder (in wp-content). Only then did the spanish translation start working. Even when the spanish is displayed now in the privacy settings, the particular items mentioned are STILL in english..

Any clues?

Hi, I am still seeking some help to solve this issue. I just haven´t been able to find a solution for this one and the plugin developer isn´t responding to my mails… Anybody?
