Trying to allow Author roles to create groups

Currently my authors can’t create groups. I took a look at roles using the ‘Members’ plugin, but didn’t see a check box for creating groups. Any ideas?

@apellicone By default, any member, down to suscriber level (default BP role) can create groups if you do not disable it in Settings > BuddyPress > Settings https://codex.buddypress.org/legacy/configuring-components-v1-6/#settings-buddypress-settings If you deactivate the Members plugin, can regular members create groups?
