hey everyone, I have a theme I am vested in and I want to make my BP more attractive. At this moment I am just getting ugly links etc.

So is there a step by step on how to get this looking better? I am a pro by no means but I can do it if I have instructions.

Also not looking to build an entire new theme and i read about child themes and do not get how to incorporate it to existing theme.

I used the buddypress compatibility plugin in the first place but it did not give my pretty buttons etc.

    Thanks.

That plugin is a quick fix. You will have to add styles to your themes CSS file to make it look right. Each theme has it’s own id’s and classes so there would be know way to make it look right for every theme out of the box.

My suggestion is get firebug firefox add on and get to crackin’!
