I’m running WordPress 3.5.1 with BuddyPress 1.6.4 with BP Columns Child Theme.

In the Profile Fields when you are adding a field, there’s a couple of tick boxes at the bottom of this page: “Default Visibility” and “Per-Member Visibility.” Under “Per-Member Visibility’ the first choice “Let members change the this field’s visibility.”

I may be incorrect, but I wanted to point this out in case it needs to be changed. Either “the” or “this” should be used, but not both.
