Unable to create groups

I recently installed and set up BuddyPress, and when I try to create a group from the backend, I am taken to the Groups page on the front end of the site, and there is nothing there on the page. I used the default Groups page that BuddyPress created when I installed it. If I navigate directly to the groups page on the front end of the site (mywebsite.com/groups), I get the same blank page. It has the page header “Groups,” but there is nothing else on the page.

Wordpress version 4.3 and BuddyPress version 2.3.3. I am using a one-page theme: Alma, from themeforest.net.

    My website is http://carrieolsenvo.com.

It’s probably an issue with your theme.
To confirm, try switching to a WP theme like 2015.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it was incompatibility with the theme. Any suggestions on a fix without having to change themes? Like something that can be done with the CSS?

It’s probably more than a css issue.
Unless somebody else has that exact theme, it’s doubtful you’ll get much help.

Since it’s a premium theme, try asking the theme author for support.
