Unable to create new groups

    Just installed and unable to add/create any groups.
    When I click on “Add Group” it sends to a http://domain name/members/groups/create/ and there I always get a Page not found 404 error msg. saying it either doesn’t exist or was moved.
    There is no “create” page listed in my pages.
    There is a groups page and it’s assigned in the “Page” setting.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I don’t see how I can us this great plug-in 🙁

    The URL to create a Group is http://example.com/groups/create/. Can you test that (obviously substituting your real domain) and let me us know if it works?

    The URL that looks like /members/groups/create is suspicious, so if the above link does work, we’ll need to figure out what’s happening to the link you’re clicking, but one step at a time!

    Thanks for the quick reply Paul, I’ve included the domain affected so you can better check things out.
    Regrettably, http://darthlama.com/groups/create also throws up the same 404 error message 🙁
    What do you suggest next?

    There is a conflict with nesting BuddyPress pages; you cannot nest BP directory pages.

    So, on your BuddyPress install, go to the WP admin dashboard, click on the Pages menu and make the Groups page a parent page.

    If you needed to have your BuddyPress pages under one parent page, then you could create a new parent page called Community and then nest the Members page under Community and the Groups page under Community.

    Thanks sooo much, that did the trick 🙂 I guess I was being too “elegant” ROFL. I made all pages related to BuddyPress parent and used WP Menu to organize my nav bar. All looks good now.
