Update child xprofile fields.

    I’m currently using buddypress 1.7 and Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type. I’m using custom xprofile fields and it have some child fields which are a selectbox. If I edit an option in selectbox the update is not propagated to the user’s profile already assigned.

    After my research, I found that all children are deleted, then recreated (why the things appened like this ?). So I cannot use the ID, to keep a hand on the xprofile. How can i follow the update on the xprofile option ?

    I’m new to wordpress and buddypress as well and I’m open for any suggestion, or any mistake I did !

    When you update an profile field, it is first deleted, then re-created. I’m sure of that, after looking the BuddyPress code.

    Why the BuddyPress works like this ? How to prevent this issue, to keep the same ID when the field is updated ?

    I just realise that I didn’t say Hi, to the community! Mistake fixed! I’m sorry.
