Updating from 1.5.7 to 1.6 Errors

Hi there! I have been searching through all of the posts and can’t find an answer. I tried updating from 1.5.7 to 1.6 and everytime, it brings me back to my homepage after install. Group posts are completly gone, and I can’t even get to the WP dashboard. Comes up as a 404. Homepage still looks the same, but anything associated with BP is gone, and the dashboard is gone. I have tried 3 different times now and everytime it does the same thing. Second time i disabled all plug ins and still didn’t work. What am I missing?

I also forgot to add, my second website is running 1.6 with all of the same plugins that we have running on the first site and am not having a problem. We are running Custom Community 1.9.1 as theme

Did you run the ‘update wizard’ after the upgrade? https://codex.buddypress.org/releases/version-1-6/upgrading-to-1-6/
