User Control Panel Widget

Hello,
Is there any widget like a control panel for the user to have in the sidebar? It’s really hard for the user to navigate through the top menu (hard to see) so it would be great with such a widget.
If not, do you have any suggestions on how to solve it in some other way? Just want some links to the settings of the user so it’s easy to see for them.
