User Registration Problems

I have moved my domain and set up my MU&BP installation and all seemed okay. I had two people register yesterday and that worked fine.

Of course I probably played around a bit after and now the registration isn’t working right. I have disabled all plugins except BuddyPress to see if it was one of those. I’m using the default theme very lightly modified.

Anyway from the main page if you click Sign Up it just redirects back to the main page.

If you go to http://utahdogs.com/register/ directly the page shows up, but if I register a dummy account.. I get the email to approve it with the link, but the link doesn’t seem to direct me to a Registration Complete page. And in the Admin I do not see that user as showing up.

And if I try to re-register that same user with same username and password, it says it’s already registered but I still do not see the user in the Admin Panel. I don’t see that user in the wp_users table either directly in the DB.

Hmm… okay I do have a whole bunch of users in the wp_signups table which are, I assume, stuck in registration limbo and not showing in the admin panel anywhere, either as registered or pending. Is the Admin panel supposed to show pending members?

Any thoughts as to what I may have done… or what I need to do?

    Thanks!

    Cynthia

Okay looking more closely at that table… wp_signups… I was going to edit the active field from 0 to 1, but it says it cannot be edited because it lacks a primary key. Would that be a problem or is it not supposed to have a primary key?

    Thanks.

I’m running MU 2.8.6 and BP 1.1.3 on a VPS.

Okay I fixed it… backed everything out, put it back in bit by bit. I really don’t like that wp_signups table in MU that is not visible in the admin panel anywhere. Maybe a plugin will show up someday to manage that puppy. :)
