User Roles

I would like to make one of my users an administrator for the buddy press side of my site but I don’t want them to be able to access all the pages other than the blog. How would I go about doing this? Right now they are an author so they can write blog posts but they can’t add any groups. Ideally for her to have full access to add members and all that without messing up anything on the site.
I don’t quite understand the difference between site role and forum role. Right now all my members are subscribers and participates for the forum role. What is the difference between keymaster and moderator?

@resom – BuddyPress doesn’t properly support capabilities (in the current release) except for some basic is_super_admin checking.

The moderator/keymaster/forum roles are from BBpress. And currently have no uses inside buddypress.

In 1.7 (the next release) the core devs have been working on making this better – See: https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/2348 for developer discussions on this.

@ChrisClayton – Thanks! Sounds promising. I hope they change this in the future!
