User Roles in WeDevs Project Manager Pro

Hi,
I have a question using the Buddypress plugin in combination with the WP Project Manager Pro of WeDevs. I am Using the buddypress addon to be able to create groups. Within the groups I can create projects. This all works fine. But if I add a new user to the group, he can not edit tasks in the tasks section of the project Manager. If I drill into the project and go into the settings (where I can add users to the poject and set their roles in the project) and just click on update, the new added user can edit the tasks.
I found out that everything is ok but in the table ‘wp_pm_role_project_users’ table in the database the entry for the new added user is missing. If I update the project the entry is made. There must be a missing database operation when adding the new user to the group. How can I fix that? I have alot of groups with a bunch of projects. So I can not update each project everytime I add a new user to the group.
