[Resolved] Username input field missing

I am running latest WordPress and BuddyPress on my local install.

As instructed in docs, I created Register and Activate page and assigned them to BuddyPress via settings. Now, when I am visiting Register page of the site, everything seems fine, but am not able to find ‘input’ box for Username Field.

All other fields have their labels and input boxes but not Username. Any ideas?

@vajrasar,

the missing field belongs to the wordpress part of the register page.
Check your wp / bp settings (allow user to register) and on BP settings check profile syncing with wordpress users.

Both the settings (Anyone Can Register AND Profile Syncing of WP and BP) are checked. Still the same issue!

Sorry for the trouble. The issue was because of a code I was using in functions.php
