Using Buddypress search rather then WordPress search

Hi all,

Here’s a (probably stupid) question for you.

I used the “BuddyPress Theme Compatibility” plugin to make the default WordPress theme “Twenty Eleven” work with Buddypress.

It works okay, but the search form (/?s=query) is still only searching WordPress items (pages, posts) and not areas such as groups, forums, members etc.

Ho do I change this?

Lines 89-95 from bp-default theme’s header.php https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.2.9/bp-themes/bp-default/header.php contains the search.

@mercime Thanks.

The select box doesn’t seem to have any effect, though. It seems to search members, groups and blogs (not forums) even though I select “members”, for example.
