Using BuddyPress without permalink

    Hello,

    Is there a way to use BuddyPress without permalink. BuddyPress is a great plugin which allows to create group and send messages to that specific group within wordpress.

    In fact, I need a messaging system which can send message by department(group). There are more than 500 users. So we need to group those users.

    But the problem here is that here is that the website does not use permalink. So I’m unable find another plugin which will provide this feature.

    Can you help me please or can you suggest me a plugin?

    Good question! I know pretty permalinks are recommended, but am not sure if they are mandatory. Perhaps @danbp or @shanebp have had some experience with this? I’ve only ever used pretty (i.e. post name).

    Do you know a plugin which provides such functionality?

    In the company there are different departments, so we need to send messages to these departments. Besides, each department should contain a number of users.

    I have tried several plugin, but can’t find the right one.
