Using the [bbp-register] is not perfect out of the box

Hello,
I tried to use the [bbp-register] shortcode and found out that it lacks something out of the box.
If you just add the above shortcode to a page and publish it, then you visit that page and click register without filling anything in the blank, you will find out that the name is required but you haven’t received a red message asking you to fill that [required] name blank, and by the way, how can we make that filed optional anyway?
