Visual editor / Rich text editor for BuddyPress groups

Hi there,

We’ve been looking at the possibilities to have a visual editor for the groups.

We have been able to get a rich text editor working like the one used right here, but for end-users we need a more intuitive solution without html markup.

Does anyone know of a solution?

Thanx for sharing!

Unfortunately this plugin does not work on my end though.. It does not show the Tinymce box on top of the “what’s new” section.

Did you test it? Is it working for you?

Hi,

read for a solution here:

Note that there is only one “what’s new” form for BP activities (meaning site activities or profile activities or group activities use the same form).

To get it only for groups, simply add a conditionnal specific for “groups”(all) or “group”(by name).

Not tested with 2.4.3, but may work. 😉
