Want to create a one way friendship like a “liking” of a fan page

I am creating a website with various types of usres and one of the users will be charities. I will like to allow the other users to be able to “like” the charity pages. I may change the term to “Become a supporter” or something like that but I did not want it to be a situation where the users needed to rquest friendship and then the charity has to approve it
is there a plugin or a simple way to do this?
