We love buddypress

    Hi,

I wasn’t sure where to post this but hopefully here this will get the audience it deserves.

We’ve been using buddypress at our school in regional Victoria, Australia, for all of 2010 and it has just been brilliant. It has enabled us to give each students their own blog, plus put them into group blogs where they can collate their work as a group; it has enabled them to have discussions within and between classes; and most excitingly, it has enabled them to communicate with the outside world in the form of real-life scientists helping them with their science experiments.

I can’t speak highly enough of how buddypress has fulfilled nearly all our needs, and I (with a limited IT skill base) have been able to keep it up and running with very little time cost.

Sadly, because of privacy concerns I can’t show off the site (it’s not that much to look at anyway), but buddypress has transformed the way we teach and our kids learn. I can think of no higher praise.

A million thanks to the folk at buddypress.

    Rob Sbaglia,
ICT coordinator, Castlemaine North Primary School
    Australia

Hi Rob, thanks for sharing how you’re using BuddyPress. It sounds like a really good use of the software :)
