Which file would I edit to change the activity feed layout?

Hello everyone,
Which file would I edit to change the activity feed layout? I need to adjust the layout for posts that show up on the activity feed. Not sure which file to edit. I would like to move the avatar to a different location and CSS is not the best use in this case.
