White screen of death on upgrade from BP 1.5.3.1 to BP 1.5.4

Hi,

When I try to upgrade from old version to new, it white screens.

I can’t disable plugins – its my live site.

I’m guessing I need to deactivate all plugins then try again.

Anyone know how to run a big WPMU + BP as a dev server?
