Who's online widget doesn't refresh

I’m working with the current version of wp and buddypress. This is the website:

    http://www.thespiritualpath.de

My Problem is the Who’s online widget which shows users still as online after they logged out. When I looked into the php core files I found that the widget should check for a user online every five minutes, but even 10 or 20 minutes after the user logged out, the widget still shows him as online. I tried setting the time interval to 1 minute, but that had absolutely no effect.
Emptying browser cache didn’t help as well, so I guess this isn’t a browser problem, I also checked with IE instead of firefox, same problem here.

    Could someone help me please?

Try clear your cache and deactivate cache plugins you have logout to test, because I resently discover that some cacache plugin settings conflict.

I already tried, browser cache, system cache and the cache of the widget. Just not sure what you mean by plugin cache? How (where) can I empty that?

To deactivate cache plugin. From admin>plugin>the cache plugin. After deactivation logout, refresh to see if is still giving the same problem

The only cache plugin I have is WP widget cache. If that is what you are talking about, deactivating, logging out and refreshing the page had no effect.
