Why can you not post in your own member area

Can someone please answer this and then stick it at the top of the Forum.

When in you area e.g. http://buddypress.org/community/members/bollocks187/

You cannot post a message in Your own Activity area.

Now this might be by design but communicate to the Community what is going on after all this is a social networking software not anti-social !

If the feature does not work on the BuddyPress site how can we get it working in our own sites ?

BuddyPress.org is not representative of BuddyPress. Check out http://testbp.org/ if you want to test the latest version.

Why wont the developers update the Buddypress.org site ? I hate to be a spoiler to peoples self indulging development activities but there are many people using BuddyPress that could use a working support organization. After all is it not free and open community ?

Please be patient as all those will be addressed. In the meantime, you can use Google to search our site e.g. “BuddyPress.org bollocks187 keywords”. Thanks.
