Why is the admin-bar.css buddypress file not being found causing a 404 error when it exist?

  • What version WP & BP are you using? What theme are you using? Is it a child theme or did you use the buddypress template pack plugin with a wordpress theme? It will be easier to get help when you provide the mentioned information!

    Thank you for finally answering me, Im using buddypress 1.6.1, wp 3.4.2 and suffusion, its a child theme

    For an update, i have deactivated all the plugins except buddypress and it still show as an error and i also went back to the default theme and it still showed up as a 404 error. This has to been a bug. i been dealing with this for two weeks now.

    @charlietech you have a theme issue and you should post at sayontan’s aquoid forums

    If you are not using the buddypress default theme this error is not an issue. To get it to go away you can drop a blank adminbar.css file into the location on the error log and the error will go away.
    Of course if you upgrade Buddypress you will have to do this again but it is a temporary fix to get the error off your radar.
