wrong time in site activity

    hello im running WordPress MU 2.7.1 and buddypress 1.0.2.

    on my front page (im running BuddyPress Default Home Theme 1.0.2 as a theme) there is a site activity. the problem is that the time on the site activity is 9 hours wrong on the time – all other places on the website the time markers a right – what could be wrong?
