BuddyPress.org

I am using a multi site network I only have the BuddyPress plugin activated on one site because that’s they only site I want to have access to it. I am using the Custom Community Theme. Everytime I try to set up the pages and options in BuddyPress i get the following message:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page

I am the superadmin of the sites what do I do set up buddypress. Thanks
