    Why are you posting here? The thread you have running on WP support says this is a install / hosting issue, just because BP is installed I’m afraid doesn’t mean it’s a BP issue, the WP thread is guiding you as best as can be you must persist in that thread not cross post to forums.

    Because I have been told by my hosts it may be a script problem.I was wondering if having BP tables in my database might affect this. And the WordPress support is incorrect as if you look, the site is showing on Firefox. Im going round in circles trying to put this right!

    just wanted to report that i had the same problem after i updated to 1.8 – i fixed it by disabling all plugins through phpmyadmin… just fyi

    @nando99 Thank you. I have decided to give up and employ someone from freelancer.com to fix it!! After working on it all day!
