Still didn’t work. After changing the settings and clearing the cache it still takes me to https://website.com/username/settings/bp-member-messages/ instead of correct URL.

After changing the settings, what happens if you click the “Messages” tab on your profile?

Also, if you use any caching plugin, please try to clear it.

Please try to check “Better Messages Location” on your BP Better Messages settings page. It should be set to “Show in BuddyPress profile” instead of another page.

@vapvarun Thanks, I found the pot. I see some strange stuff in my languages/plugins folder – it looks like language files with .json and .php extension. Is it safe to dele those.
I think something is messing up the my custom language file

@adjunkten you can find pot file inside BuddyPress plugin language folder and to sync you also also use poedit tool
