Thank you – however, I have changed to the default theme and the problem is the same. I don’t think it is the theme that is causing the problem.

Oh I have found the problem – it was my fault and I have fixed it. Sorry for being a little pain!

I have the same problem. I have disabled all plugins and changed themes. I have the latest version of bp-columns but I get the non-reply problem with that or the default theme.

I am not certain as it was probably a little while before it was discovered, but I had done that thing of changing:

RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-content/blogs.php?file=$2 [L]

to

RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 […]

I cleared the cache and restarted Google Chrome and the same thing is happening.
