@djpaul so sorry, you are right. I am using group email subscription – I was convinced it was core functionality (it feels like it should be). It’s @boonebgorges and @dwenaus plugin, I’ll see if I can find out more from them on their own support forum.

@boonebgorges I have updated the line as suggested and now the e.g. twitter link acts like a buddypress search rather than a twitter link. e.g. the twitter id is mytwittername clicking it goes to http://mywebsite/members/?s=mytwittername

Finding that the rule for http://www.mywebsite.com/groups/*/forum/topic/* with all cloudflare options off is working (at least for now) it means that the topic pages are not cached – so slower, but fingers crossed I’ve just sorted out a problem I’ve had for a year!
Still open to other suggestions.

I might need to do some digging into cloudflare’s page rules http://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-pagerules-fine-grained-feature-co – if anyone has any thoughts on what files I should exclude from Cloudflare’s options, then all recommendations welcome

It was working after the upgrade. It looks like something in my theme is conflicting with wp fb autoconnect, so that’s switched off for now. The odd thing is that it seemed to change on weds evening when I was away from my computer, so I don’t think it was me. Maybe something with Facebook, possibly an entry in the database or maybe gremlins – I’ll need to do some testing over the weekend

Hi @djpaul no it doesn’t. I’m presuming that it’s still marked as a favourite somewhere in the database, but you can’t unfavourite something that isn’t there anymore.
Do you know which table it’s stored in?

Yay thanks @djpaul – the notification links in emails are working now…. but there is another one of my users has spotted, when you are mentioned in a forum thread the link to that thread is missing e.g.:

admin mentioned you in an update:
“My first group”
To view and respond to the message, log in and visit: hello @ewebber

@feedmymedia I have it working in 1.5 without any problems – it sounds like you might have a javascript issue somewhere which is causing the options to be visible rather than hidden

This seems to be a preview issue with BuddyPress itself http://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/preview-of-pages-and-posts-not-working-with-bp-1-5-1

If the site is set to a static page (rather than activity which I normally have) then the digests are visible

I just came across this same issue, I can’t preview posts – it also affects viewing the digest queue from group email subscriptions which adds /?sum=1 to the end of the url

I also tried testing setting the homepage to a static page and can confirm that with the static page I can preview and see the /?sum=1 preview

I am using @brajesh ‘s code on 1.5, but it’s no longer looping in forums, does anyone have the same issues?
