When a member posts something interesting on the activity stream it usually gets a couple of replies and replies on replies from members. If there’s many replies, the activity stream displays all of them sometimes taking the whole page to display the replies. Is it possible to have a feature such as Facebook that only shows the last 2 replies with a link to all of the replies?

@antonrsa off the top of my head, isn’t that just a theming issue… Modding your loop? Or does the core template tag spit out all the replies en masse?

And I see options for how many to show but setting a max of 2 wouldn’t place a link for others to be seen … at least not that I can tell.

I’d do it with jquery. When the page loads, replace all but the most recent replies with a Read More link.

Seems like the jquery could be added to the bp-default theme and then everyone could enjoy the feature.

Big huge ticket on this as noted above, and it’s not the simplest thing to sort out, but think the solution was arrived at albeit with further enhancements for show/hiding replies.
