Hi,

I would like users to have the option of adding their email address to their public profile (when I say public profile, the entire Buddypress community on my website is private), without them having to enter their email address a second time on the registration page (i.e. in a text box that I have created for email).

I wonder if there is a way of having a checkbox next to the mandatory email address field on the registration page which says something like “check to display email address on your profile page”. Failing this, as it’s a closed community and we all have each other’s email addresses, is there a way of automatically adding a user’s email address to their profile?
