BBPress Error in Buddypress

    @midwestbonsai

    Hello folks,

    I have installed buddypress with no issues.

    Installed bbpress via the admin panel of buddypress.

    It says it was installed, looks fine.

    But when I try to post a topic in the group forum I get the following error

    “There was an error when creating the topic”

    Are there instructions that I missed somewhere?

    Have you created a Group in your install? Forum topics are associated with Groups. If the issue is other than that, it would help if you shared what WPMU and BP versions you are using.

    If it’s an old group, you must first disable then re-enable the group forum in the group admin menu.

    I have the same problem…

    I have deleted all groups and started a new group but no luck.

    The thread appears in the sitewide activity, the tags get created.

    I just get the error and the thread doesnt show up in my /forums page.

    Any idea how to fix that?
