Email notification is sent twice (or more!)

    Hi, I’m having an issue with BP email notifications:

    Let’s say some user mention me on a blog post and I got a notification. Every time someone else reply that answer I got another email notification.

    Every time someone else marks that comment using “Comment Rating” plugin I got another notification. Every time someone else edit their comment I got another notification.

    Sometimes comments have 20 replies and I got an email notification every time.

    Please, any ideas on why this happens? And how can I fix this? Thanks!

    Go to your Settings > Notifications panel and click on “No” radio button for “A member mentions you in an update using @wceolin ” and/or “A member replies to an update or comment you’ve posted” which are set to Yes by default.

    I think I wasn’t so clear. I want to receive notifications but I wouldn’t like to be notified when someone else reply a comment where I was mentioned. That’s make sense? :P

    E.g. @userx post a comment mentioning me. Every time someone reply HIS comment I got an notification.

    I would like to be notified when someone mention me or reply an update mine but wouldn’t like to be notified when someone reply an update where I was mentioned.

    Any ideas on that? Thanks!

    Think of it as a continual notification that a thread has been updated / added to, I have a number of accounts that track in this way I may only have posted once or just be on the ticket / thread mailing list but will get an email notification every time someone adds to that thread, this is a good thing by and large.

    Hi, I didn’t found a solution yet. This is really annoying for most users of my website. So, I’m really considering pay if someone is interested to develop a plugin or something that fix it.

    Any volunteer?
