[Plugin: BP Group Hierarchy] Will members of a subgroup automatically be members of parent group?

The plugin BP Group Hierarchy (http://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-group-hierarchy/) sounds like a great idea. Has anyone used it? What are your impressions?
The plugin page says
“Every group and subgroup is a normal BuddyPress group and can have members and a forum, use group extensions, etc.”Ideally what I would like is that if someone joins a subgroups (e.g. London), they should automatically be added to the parent group (e.g. England). Is this how the plugin works?
