Randomly Generated Links in Profile

In component setup on the dashboard, I’m enabling extended profiles, which then allows me in profile field setup to create additional textboxes of info about the user on the profile page. This extra text, when added, becomes populated with seemingly random hyperlinks (http://wpmuurl.com/members/?s=”text”) that seem to be searching for users that don’t exist.

Am I missing something here? Will this inevitably create connections between users based on the words they use in their profile? ie. I “tag” myself as a nerd by using the word in my profile, then I can click and query how many other people used “nerd” in their profile info, (maybe this is changing from a bug report to a feature request?!?!?)

On the bp demo site you’ll note “nerd” under Nationality and “Create/Find/Fix bugs in BuddyPress” under Job Description on this profile http://testbp.org/members/johnjamesjacoby/profile/ have both become links that seemingly lead to a random batch of other members.

    Thoughts?
