Avatar/icons in Site Wide Activity Stream sidebar widget

Hello all I have WP 3.01 & BuddyPress Version 1.2.6

I have my own custom default avatars working in most areas of the site but can not get them changed for the site wide activity stream widget or in the main activity stream it is showing identicons they are very small it is showing it for sub-directory blogs & the main blog… I’m not sure what files needs to be edited to fix this as I’ve looked into the buddypress files I’m wondering if it is in the WP files

Hi,
What do you exactly want to do: change the icon size or use your own icons ?

I have my own icons added Like on the page that list blogs it shows the right avatars http://paranormalportal.paranormalsos.com/blogs/

but in the activity stream & the activity widget it shows only the gravatars or my custom icons & not the users who made the blog post (I hope that makes since)

Ooooh, i think this is a normal behaviour of BP. The page is called side wide activity, not each blog user activity.
you probably could use this plugin:
https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-import-blog-activity/
or ask @boonebgorges for further details

The buddypress was a fresh install on a fresh WP I may give that a try

I edited the bp-core a bit to get my custom avatar showing I just wish it would show for the site wide & on the activity stream as it does in the blog listing (but smaller) Thanks for your help
